Meet the Founder
Angelina Cruz, MBA, HSM
With 25 years of experience in healthcare, including extensive experience in healthcare leadership and revenue cycle management, my career has given me a comprehensive understanding of both the operational and financial sides of healthcare delivery. My background spans healthcare administration, revenue cycle management, medical billing and coding, payer reimbursement, collections, and healthcare operations.
Throughout my career, I have developed hands-on experience leading revenue cycle operations and teams, while managing and navigating complex areas of reimbursement, medical billing and coding, payer relations, accounts receivable, collections, denials, and revenue cycle performance. My leadership experience has given me firsthand insight into how effective processes, accountability, and payer strategy directly impact an organization's financial health.
In addition to my healthcare leadership experience, I spent six years in higher education teaching Medical Billing, Medical Coding, and Healthcare Administration. Teaching future healthcare professionals allowed me to combine real-world experience with technical knowledge of coding, reimbursement, payer requirements, and the administrative processes that drive an effective revenue cycle.
Backed by an MBA, education in Healthcare Management, 25 years of healthcare experience, and six years of higher-education teaching experience, I founded Valley Prime RCM to provide healthcare practices with more than traditional billing support. My vision is to be a knowledgeable, responsive partner who understands the unique challenges healthcare providers face and helps build stronger, more sustainable revenue cycles through a commitment to quality, accountability, and exceptional performance.
